Saint Thomas Parish was founded in 1902 with the school opening its doors in January of 1903. Saint Thomas School is accredited by the Kentucky Non-Public School Commission and the State of Kentucky.
In 2006 and 2019, Saint Thomas School was named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education.
