The Saint Thomas School cafeteria provides hot meals for students, daily, in accordance with the Diocese of Covington and state health standards. In addition to our cafeteria staff, parent volunteers are vital to offering this service.
As students return to school this fall, they will continue to find healthy new choices in their school cafeteria.
This includes a choice from a main entree, two vegetable choices, two fruit choices, milk, orange juice, and a whole grain choice. We also offer a variety of à-la-carte options and healthy snacks at a reasonable price. Students may choose an à-la-carte component to create a complete meal, or purchase items separately. A list of à-la-carte items are listed on the monthly menu. The monthly menu is available for viewing on the School Website (updated monthly as it becomes available), Sycamore, and The Dioceses of Covington School School Food Service Website.
Meals Plus will be the software package used for the daily lunch sales. If paying by check, please include the student’s name and ID number in the memo section. Checks should be made payable to “Diocese of Covington – Saint Thomas Cafeteria”. If paying by cash, please include student name and enclosed dollar amount on the front of the envelope. If your family has multiple students, you may deposit one check or a cash amount. Please indicate how the money should be allocated for each student. All remaining account balances from last year will rollover to the new school year. All ID numbers will remain the same, including incoming freshman. Any student who has transferred from a school outside of the Diocese will need a student ID number. Please contact the school office for your lunch number.
MySchoolBucks.com is a convenient option for making lunch deposits. This software allows parents to monitor student activity as well as make deposits online using a credit card. Please be aware that there is a service fee for each deposit transaction. If you have any questions, please contact the cafeteria or the school office.
We ask that parents set up an account for each child. There is no charge to set up an account, and it will give you the ability to access your child’s daily lunch activity. All account usernames and passwords remain the same from last year. If you need student ID number information or instructions, please contact the school office. New students will need to set up accounts for Saint Thomas School. It is the parent’s responsibility to monitor account balances.
