St. Thomas School celebrated Catholic Schools Week last week. Monday was the Day of Faith. The students started their day with a prayer service and ended their day reciting the Divine Mercy Chaplet with the whole school.
Tuesday was Parent Appreciation Day! Teachers met parents dropping off their children to school to tell them ‘Thank You’ for all they do for the students and the school and to give them a special treat. On Tuesday afternoon, there was a school wide game of Bingo.
Wednesday was Student Appreciation Day! Students were able to have lunch with their parents, show parents the classrooms and attend the Book Fair!
Teachers were celebrated on Thursday for Teacher Appreciation Day! Teachers and staff were treated to breakfast compliments of the Student Council and a lunch from the Mothers’ Club.
Friday was Community Outreach Day. A group of students accompanied by teachers delivered pizzas to special community organizations that support our school. Friday afternoon, the teachers and the eighth grade went head to head in a volleyball match.
